Great charter. Got us a swordfish and an overall great day on the water. Would highly recommend.

I have chartered four or five trips a year for the last 15 years somewhere on the keys. Did my first trip with Dirty Boat approximately 4 years ago and have probably done around 12 charters with them since then. There are approximately 500 charter boat captains from Key Largo to Key West. There are probably a lot of good charters within that count but I know for certain there are a lot of captains that are on the other end of that -spectrum [not good at all]. The boat is named Dirty Boat for good reason- more often than not, the boat does get somewhat dirty due to the amount of fish coming on board and being put into the ice chest. I do not know of one captain that will work harder than Captain Kit Carson to put you on your targeted fish. And the mate will do all he can to help you bring that fish on board and get it in the ice chest. That is the kind of work ethics that the crew exhibited to me on my first trip. Which is why I booked my next charter with them- they worked hard and earned my business. I do not care how much someone knows until I know how much they care. Captain Kit and his crew know a lot about catching fish. But they care more about you as a customer and strive to give you an amazing fun filled day on the water

This is our 4th time with Dirty Boat! Always a great time! Captain really goes out of his way to make sure we have fun! Great with teens. Highly recommend!

The best charter I have ever taken. Captain Kit and Mike were great and had us on fish for the whole 6hr trip. I was hoping to catch my first Mahi but little did I know we would limit out! Will definitely be booking another trip on the DirtyBoat again.

We (2 adults, a 15 year old and an 11 year old)had such an awesome experience on Dirty Boat with Captain Kit and Mark. Both men were extremely knowledgeable, respectful and worked so hard to get fish on the line. This was most of our first times deep sea fishing and it couldn’t have been a more rewarding experience. At the end of the trip, we left with 20 mahi and a large amberjack. Captain Kit made sure all the fish were cleaned, filleted and ready for us to ship back to Boston. First Mate, Mark was the best and we all enjoyed our time on the deck with him.

Absolutely amazing 👏. That’s what I have to say about Dirty Boat Charters. Captain Kit and his deckhand Angel were awesome to fish with and were incredibly gifted with an ability to find the fish. They were able to put us on 5 different species during our Mahi trip. After catching our limit of Mahi we went and caught our limit of Amberjack. Then it was off to nail a couple Rainbow Runners and top it off with a Barracuda on the drive back. Captain Kit stayed in the tower most of the day locating fish and in the meantime Angel continued to come check on me and my wife and make sure we were having the best time possible in some pretty rough seas. All in all the best fishing we’ve ever done. Thank you again Captain Kit and Angel for the amazing experience and memories.

“CATCH” WITH THE BEST!! I am an outdoor freak. Have a great respect for GOD’s creations, love fishing and hunting and anything outdoors. It’s not just about the harvest, it’s also about the beauty of HIS creation and the time spent in it with really good people. I have been blessed to have gone on over 100+ chartered fishing trips over the last 45 years. Fish do not jump in the boat every day, nor are they in the same place everyday. Seasons change, weather changes, a fish’s home and appetite changes I have learned there is ‘fishing’ and there is ‘catching’, and most often the difference comes in the knowledge and the willingness to adapt of the captain/guide. Too often in fishing, and in life, we get caught up in the same daily routine, and in doing so we don’t even attempt to be versatile to get a better result. I went out with Dirty Boat on 7/9 for trolling and 7/11 for bottom fishing, and had two of the best trips ever! Capt Kit Carson and his mate Angel proved they are one of the BEST charter boats in Islamorada and many other places I have been. They showed the knowledge, versatility, and willingness to adapt to what was needed to turn a day of fishing into catching. They used techniques I had never seen before and worked diligently to make sure we were in the right spots and that fresh baits stayed in the water. The outcome was 9 different species of fish, some I had never seen or caught before which was way cool. But what I enjoyed most was the Capt coming down to the fishing deck and making himself a part of it all with me and his mate that made it all come together. My husband I had the most amazing fishing trip yesterday with Captain Kit and first mate Angel. They had us on fish in no time and we had the time of our lives. After my husband going through cancer and being disabled he had not fished like this in years. Watching him have so much fun and enjoy life again meant the world to me. KIT and Angel you were so patient and thoughtful. I would tell anyone if they want to experience this to do it with you.

We fulfilled my husband’s bucket list wish earlier today! Quite the day of fishing especially for my first experience ever touching a fishing rod. Can’t say enough about Captain Kit and Angel. We had a fantastic week of fishing with Kit and Angel from DirtyBoat! We caught mahi, tuna, snapper and what seemed like the world’s biggest Amberjack!!! My family was treated like royalty and we absolutely hammered the fish!!! We are already counting the days until Vacation 2025 so we can go back out with these guys!

Outstanding crew!!!! Captain and mate were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Targeted mahi and they produced fish!! Caught fresh bait, rigged up all new tackle and they worked for us. Two man limit of mahi in the boat by 10am. Back to the dock and they cleaned the fish and set up packaging, freezing and shipping services. Highly recommend.

Good time on a full day trip. First mate Angel worked hard the entire trip.

Captain and Angel were absolutely phenomenal with my family. We brought our two daughters and they had an absolute blast deep drop fishing with electric reels. They put us on fish consistently and we caught a great mix of tilefish, a snowy grouper, vermillion snapper, and even a giant blackbelly rosefish. The boat is well maintained and has shade to sit in, a head (must have for a family with young kids), and plenty of space to relax or fish. We had such an amazing time we booked a repeat trip for later in the week. If you’re looking for a fun fishing trip, this is the boat for you.

This was a great fishing adventure; I’d recommend the full day charter it’s what we did and I think presents the best opportunity if you want to catch different types of fish, and we had a blast, caught lots of fish and had a great day and the crew was fantastic working really hard to ensure we had the best opportunity to catch Mahi Mahi, tuna and some other fish that presented an opportunity to us. They had music on board, and everyone had a good time and they really worked hard as a team to ensure we were reeling them in.
